President Donald Trump was greeted with enthusiasm and support on Saturday evening in Tulsa, Oklahoma, where he attended the NCAA Wrestling Championship alongside Sen. Markwayne Mullin, R-Okla.
“What a fantastic day yesterday at the NCAA Wrestling Championship alongside my boys, and @realDonaldTrump!” Sen. Mullin wrote on Twitter. “It was an honor to have the President back in Tulsa to witness our best collegiate athletes make history. Thank you, Mr. President, for always showing up for Oklahoma.”
As Trump entered the arena with his entourage, fans in the stadium seats cheered and waved to the 45th president, shouting their support. Trump shook hands with several people and spent time taking pictures with some of the wrestlers and eager Americans from the crowd.
According to a report from Fox News, Trump congratulated Pat Glory after he won the NCAA Wrestling Championship in the 125-pound class, along with Vito Arujau (champion, 133-pound class) and Virginia wrestler Justin McCoy.
Trump’s visit to Tulsa came just one day after the president confirmed that he might be arrested on Tuesday on potential indictments from the “CORRUPT & HIGHLY POLITICAL” Manhattan district attorney’s office.
As reported by RSBN, the possible charges surround years-old allegations by adult film actress Stormy Daniels. “They are MANY years beyond the Statute of Limitations which, in this instance, is TWO YEARS,” Trump wrote on Monday on Truth Social. “More importantly, THERE WAS NO CRIME!!!”
Despite the legal pressures from the Manhattan D.A., the president appeared relaxed and in excellent spirits on Saturday night while he watched the NCAA Championship. Via Fox News, Trump was also joined by Oklahoma Governor Kevin Stitt (R), who told KTUL-TV: “Having the president, or a former president, show up here in Tulsa is just a great deal for our state.”
