President Trump held a fiery presser on Thursday afternoon in New York City following the closing arguments in the ongoing civil fraud suit that he has been fighting since last fall, contending with New York State Attorney General Letitia James and Judge Arthur Engoron.

Trump shredded the “political witch hunt” when he left the courtroom on Thursday, labeling it as “election interference.”

Later, during remarks at a press conference in NYC, he answered a few questions from the media, explaining his position on the New York case and several of the other legal battles he is facing amidst his 2024 reelection campaign.

“We’ve proven this case so conclusively,” he remarked. “…They don’t have any facts, they don’t have any evidence against us. Millions and millions of pages, years of litigations, and all politically motivated.”

The president also accused AG James of “having serious Trump Derangement Syndrome,” referring to her years of documented remarks where she openly expressed her dislike for President Donald Trump.

He also pointed out that the only real witness in the case against him and his business was Michael Cohen, who was convicted in the past of tax fraud and lying, per Politico. Trump described Cohen’s testimony as something that “crashed and burned.”

“They have no case, it’s a shame that a thing like this is able to happen,” Trump added.

Trump further explained, “My legal issues, every one of them, every one – civil and the criminal ones – are all set up by Joe Biden. Crooked Joe Biden. This is something that has never happened in this country…even the civil ones, this is civil, they’re set up by Biden.”

He referred to the legal battles as something you might see in a “third-world country” or a “banana republic.”

According to CNBC, Judge Arthur Engoron will likely hand down his decision in the case sometime over the next few weeks.
