President Trump is polling at all-time highs ahead of his Friday appearance in South Dakota, where he will appear alongside Gov. Kristin Noem, R-S.D., for a “Monumental Leaders Rally.”

According to the newest data from Morning Consult, Trump has captured 60 percent of potential GOP primary voters’ support nationwide, giving him a whopping 45-point lead over runner-up Gov. Ron DeSantis, R-Fla.

In their poll, DeSantis earned 15 percent of support, while Ramaswamy hovered in third place with eight percent.

As reported by RSBN, Trump’s visit to Rapid City, South Dakota, will be his first time returning to the Mount Rushmore State since 2020, when he appeared at a historic and patriotic fireworks celebration for Independence Day. That same year, he easily won South Dakota in the 2020 presidential election, scoring over 60 percent of the state’s vote, according to Politico.

Gov. Noem has, at times, been viewed as a potential presidential contender for 2024, but the Republican leader has made it clear that she has no intention to run for president in a race that is overwhelmingly dominated by President Trump.

As far as who will potentially win the Republican nomination in 2024, Noem explained on Fox News, “The fact is, none of them can win as long as Trump’s in the race. And that’s just the facts. So why run if you can’t win?”

Another national poll from Echelon Insights found that Trump is not only leading Joe Biden in a general election, but he is maintaining the position of top dog in the GOP primary.

In their survey, they found that GOP voters favored Trump at 52 percent compared to DeSantis’s 15 percent. Head-to-head, Trump won 64 percent of support in a Republican primary battle, while DeSantis gained 26 percent.

Earlier this year, Gov. Noem touted the power of President Trump’s grassroots supporters, highlighting the effect of small-dollar donations for his reelection campaign when compared against traditional Republican millionaire donors.

She explained on Fox News, “I don’t think any of the other candidates have that kind of commitment from the people that invest in them. They have big donors that write them big checks and that is powerful but those small donors that President Trump has really sends another message as well.”
