Trump: ‘Joe Rogan’s not a racist’

Defending popular podcast host Joe Rogan against the left’s attacks, President Donald Trump confidently said, “Joe Rogan’s not a racist.”

During his Wednesday interview with the NELK Boys on “Full Send Podcast,” Trump added, “He’s a very interesting guy that people like listening to.”

Referencing cancel culture’s attempt to restrict his podcast on Spotify, Trump explained, “They’ve been hitting him very hard.”

After initially allowing Rogan’s podcast to remain unrestricted despite pressure from liberal singers such as Neil Young, Spotify added Covid warnings to Rogan’s podcast because of his controversial guests.

Soon afterward, the left accused Rogan of being racist after they dug up previous racial comments he made and took them drastically out of context. He has since apologized for using the N-word, saying it was, “The most regretful and shameful thing that I’ve ever had to talk about publicly.”

The 45th president brought this issue up during his podcast appearance with the NELK Boys. “I did tell him one thing,” Trump said, “Stop apologizing.” When asked how Rogan responded to the advice, Trump said, “I don’t know,” adding, “I put the word out.”

After Rogan publicly apologized for past comments he made on his show in an effort to appease cancel culture, Trump released a statement, saying, “Joe Rogan is an interesting and popular guy, but he’s got to stop apologizing to the Fake News and Radical Left maniacs and lunatics.” He added, “Joe, just go about what you do so well and don’t let them make you look weak and frightened. That’s not you and it never will be!”

When asked if Rogan ever reached out to Trump, the 45th president responded, “I don’t know, I’d have to ask my people.”

The podcasters then asked Trump if he would support Joe Rogan moderating a presidential debate, to which Trump responded, “He’s much more talented than Chris Wallace… He’s a much more talented person than just about all of these moderators.”
