The Trump campaign released a new website on Tuesday to reveal how much Americans will pay if Vice President Kamala Harris is elected as president in November.

The website, KamalaTaxIncrease.com, offers examples of the impact of the Harris campaign’s tax policies, according to the Tax Foundation.

“When Kamala is in Pennsylvania, Michigan, and Wisconsin this week — will she tell voters that on average they will pay more than $2,000 in extra taxes each year if she is elected and lets the Trump Tax Cuts expire? The choice is simple — more money in your pockets with President Trump or higher taxes with Kamala Harris,” Karoline Leavitt, Trump campaign National Press Secretary, said in a statement announcing the website.

The statement noted that Harris voted against the Trump tax cuts and plans to let them expire if elected. In Pennsylvania, the average tax hike would be the equivalent of $2,394 per year, the campaign shared.

Nationwide, the average tax increase under the proposed tax policy by Harris would be $3,580, the website estimates.

Some states, such as California, could see up to $3,360 in average increases. In Washington, the average expected increase is $4,375.

“Democrats in Washington don’t care about you – they will work together with Kamala Harris to make sure you pay more taxes and have less money in your pocket. According to the Tax Foundation, if the Trump Tax Cuts expire, most taxpayers will see a notable tax increase,” the website’s text claims.

“We must say no to Kamala Harris and her anti-American policies! Select your state below to see how you will be affected,” it also stated.

Trump recently announced plans to make his previous tax cuts permanent if elected in November.

“Instead of a Biden tax hike, I’ll give you a Trump middle-class, upper-class, lower-class, business-class – big tax cut. You’re going to have the biggest tax cut,” he said during a New Jersey rally in May.

Harris has referred to the Trump tax cuts as a program to help the “top 1 percent.” She publicly stated plans to end the tax cuts on her first day in office.

“On Day One, we’re going to repeal that tax bill that benefited the top 1 percent and corporations,” she said.
