President Trump was tough and clear on Friday night in New Hampshire, slamming his political opponent for driving his ongoing legal battles and warning against the “threat” of the federal government’s weaponization.
“Weaponization is a THREAT,” he said. “Using [the] DOJ is a threat to democracy!”
President Trump delivered his remarks in Concord on Friday evening, with just four days to go until the critical New Hampshire first-in-the-nation GOP primary next Tuesday.
“I’ll take good care of New Hampshire, I always have,” he vowed.
The president scorched Joe Biden as “grossly incompetent” and “corrupt.” He also described him as a “really bad guy.”
Pivoting back to the ongoing court battles he is facing amid a 2024 election season, he joked that every time he flies over a “blue state, two days later I get a subpoena.”
However, he powerfully pointed out that it was this ongoing political persecution that was essentially serving as rocket fuel for his campaign. “If they would have played it straight…I’d now be getting ready to leave government. And now they’ve got me for FOUR MORE YEARS,” he declared.
The crowd leaped to their feet, whistling and cheering with that comment.
