President Donald Trump is leading President Joe Biden in all seven battleground states, according to a new poll.

The survey from The Times/SAY24 showed Trump leading in Arizona, Georgia, Michigan, Nevada, North Carolina, Pennsylvania and Wisconsin.

Trump’s largest lead among the seven swing states was found in Arizona. He polled at 44 percent, compared with Biden at 37 percent, Robert F. Kennedy Jr. at 5 percent and 10 percent undecided.

The closest race among the seven states in the poll was found in Michigan. Trump currently leads with 42 percent in the poll, just two points ahead of Biden with 40 percent.

“In each state at least two-thirds of registered voters describe the national economy as fair or poor, as opposed to excellent or good. Majorities in each state are similarly downbeat about their state’s economy,” the poll noted regarding Biden’s challenges.

“Expectations are low for economic improvement. In each state the share who think the national economy is getting worse far outnumber the share who think it’s getting better, and the same goes for each state’s economy,” it added.

The survey, however, noted that Democratic Senate candidates lead in five of the key battleground states. For example, in Arizona, Democratic candidate Rube Gallego holds a 7-point lead over Republican candidate Kari Lake.

The two strongest Democratic Senate races among the seven states included Pennsylvania, where Bob Casey Jr. holds a 12-point lead over GOP nominee David McCormick, and Wisconsin, with Democrat Tammy Baldwin garnering 50 percent of the poll against Republican Eric Hovde.

Three national poll released Sunday and taken before Trump’s assassination attempt, however, revealed a close competition remains between the two major candidates. A Fox News poll showed Trump up by just 1 point nationwide.

A similar NBC News poll showed Trump leading by 2 percent, while a CBS News poll of the seven battleground states revealed Trump ahead by 2 points. The Biden campaign is working to address the weaknesses in recent polls. The president travels to Nevada this week to address Black and Hispanic voters as part of a renewed strategy to shore up support before November.
