While maintaining a big lead over Nikki Haley in recent New Hampshire polling, President Trump remarked during a Fox interview that she has “no chance” in the upcoming primary elections.

Trump appeared on Fox News’ “Hannity” this week following a landslide win for the Iowa caucus earlier in the week to discuss his ongoing campaign goals and what he expects to see for the New Hampshire primary on Jan. 23.

During his interview with Fox host Sean Hannity, the 45th president called out the state’s voting regulations and slammed Haley by noting “MAGA” would not “be with her.”

“It bothers me, and the governor should have done something about it instead of talking, wasting his time with Nikki ’cause she’s not going to make it. She has no chance, she’s got no way. MAGA’s not going to be with her,” Trump stated.

“Who has a system where Democrats are allowed to vote in the Republican primary? And New Hampshire’s an incredible place. I love the people. We won New Hampshire last time, it was fantastic what we did. You know, we have great spirit, great everything. But you need a system,  you need a governor that’s going to get it changed, not just [talk] about it,” the 45th president continued.

While New Hampshire does not allow intra-party voting, reports that independent or undeclared voters have joined in cross-party voting to support Haley have circulated online, according to Fox News.

Roughly 3,500 Democrats had switched their party registration in October to become undeclared or independent voters, the outlet reported.

Allies of former New Jersey Gov. Chris Christie had previously encouraged the state Democrat voters to switch parties, with ads stating that they could help “stop Trump,” according to Politico.

“This can’t happen again,” a mailer sent to Democrat voters stated, according to Politico. “You can make sure it doesn’t. Stop Trump by switching parties & voting in the Republican primary.”

While efforts to push for Haley have been growing, polls still indicate that the former president has a significant lead against the former South Carolina governor.

A recent poll conducted by Saint Anselm College showed that the 45th president not only gained seven points since their early January poll, but Trump currently sits at 52 percent, leading Haley by 14 points.
