President Trump has a suggestion for the future of the Democratic Party. After winning a decisive victory in the November 2024 presidential election, Trump is telling the Democratic Party how to recalibrate and move forward.
In a Truth Social post on Wednesday, Trump offered an option for who the Democratic nominee should be in the 2028 presidential election.
“I have an idea for the Democrats to bring them back into play,” Trump said. “After years of being left out in the cold, including suffering one of the Greatest Losses in History, the 2024 Presidential Election, the Democrats should nominate Low IQ Candidate, Jasmine Crockett, for President.”
Rep. Jasmine Crockett, D-Texas, has been notoriously critical of President Trump, including over his recent actions in the Israel-Iran conflict. Crockett has also received backlash for her heated rhetoric towards other Republican politicians, including Sen. Ted Cruz, R-Texas.
Trump continued by pointing out other far-left members of the party who could join a national Democratic ticket.
“AOC+3 should be, respectively, Vice President, and three High Level Members of the Cabinet,” Trump said.
Trump referenced the far-left direction of the Democratic Party, indicated by Tuesday night’s Democratic primary for the mayoral election in New York City, in which socialist candidate Zohran Mamdani defeated Democrat Andrew Cuomo. Cuomo conceded the race to Mamdani on Tuesday night.
“Added together with our future Communist Mayor of New York City, Zohran Mamdani, and our Country is really SCREWED!” Trump said.
