President Donald Trump made a bold argument on Monday morning about the ongoing legal prosecution that he is facing in many venues amid an intense 2024 election season, calling them “POLITICAL PROSECUTIONS” and calling for an immediate end to the legal circus.

He wrote, “WE ARE IN THE MIDDLE OF AN ELECTION, PERHAPS THE MOST IMPORTANT ELECTION IN THE HISTORY OF OUR COUNTRY, AND THESE RADICAL LEFT LUNATIC PROSECUTORS AND JUDGES ARE NOT ALLOWED TO BE DOING THIS.”

On Friday, he received a jaw-dropping ruling from New York Judge Arthur Engoron, ordering him to pay over $350 million in a civil fraud suit brought by the state’s Attorney General Letitia James.

His sons were fined millions of dollars, and the judge placed at least a three-year ban that would keep Trump and his two sons, Eric and Donald Jr., from holding authoritative positions in New York real estate companies.

President Trump pointed out on Truth Social, “WHY DIDN’T THEY START THREE YEARS AGO??? BECAUSE THEY WANTED TO INTERFERE WITH THE PRESIDENTIAL ELECTION OF 2024, THAT’S WHY!”

He also shared Section 9-85.500 from the Department of Justice Manual:

“‘Federal prosecutors and agents may never select the timing of any action, including investigative steps, criminal charges, or statements, for the purpose of affecting any election, or for the purpose of giving an advantage or disadvantage to any candidate or political party.’”

The president argued that this “ELECTION INTERFERENCE” should be “IMMEDIATELY STOPPED.” He called for the “FAKE PROSECUTIONS” to end, lambasting the political persecution as “COMMUNISM, AND A THREAT TO DEMOCRACY.”

Last week, Trump released an initial statement about Judge Engoron’s ruling, calling it a “SHAM” and accusing New York State prosecutors of being “biased.”

He explained, “The Democrat Club-controlled Judge Engoron has already been reversed four times on this case, a shameful record, and he will be reversed again. We cannot let injustice stand, and will fight Crooked Joe Biden’s weaponized persecution at every step. MAKE AMERICA GREAT AGAIN!”
