President Donald Trump met with the law enforcement officers on Tuesday who apprehended assassination attempt suspect Ryan Routh.

The deputies from the Martin County Sheriff’s Office met with the 45th president at his request in his Mar-a-Lago home where he could personally thank them.

“That’s good looking human beings,” Trump said as he entered the room.

“Whose your best guy – who’s the best man here?” he joked with the deputies, shaking each person’s hand.

The video, posted by Deputy Director of Communication for the Trump campaign Margo Martin, quickly turned viral.

The Martin County Sheriff’s Office also posted a photo of those who met with Trump on Facebook with a statement.

“Today, President Donald Trump met with the Martin County Sheriff’s deputies who apprehended Ryan Wesley Routh, the would-be assassin captured on Sunday Following an incident at Trump international golf course,” the post read.

“President Trump contacted the Martin County Sheriff’s Office to request that those involved in the apprehension, join him at Mar-a-Lago so he could personally thank them for their incredible work,” it added.

RSBN previously reported that bodycam footage of Routh’s arrest was released by law enforcement.

Routh was arrested on I-95 after fleeing in a vehicle after Secret Service agents shot toward him at the Trump International Golf Club in West Palm Beach, Florida. The suspect was seen walking backward with his hands behind his head before officers apprehended him.

Routh appeared in court where he was charged with two federal gun charges that included possession of a firearm by a convicted felon and possession of a firearm with a destroyed serial number.

The charges could include up to 15 years in prison and $250,000 in fines for the first charge and a maximum of five years and a $250,000 fine for the second charge.

Trump also previously thanked the Secret Service and law enforcement on Sunday following the assassination attempt.

“Most importantly, I want to thank the U.S. Secret Service, Sheriff Ric Bradshaw and his Office of brave and dedicated Patriots, and, all of Law Enforcement, for the incredible job done today at Trump International in keeping me, as the 45th President of the United States, and the Republican Nominee in the upcoming Presidential Election, SAFE,” he wrote on Truth Social.

“THE JOB DONE WAS ABSOLUTELY OUTSTANDING. I AM VERY PROUD TO BE AN AMERICAN!” Trump concluded.
