President Donald Trump released a statement on Friday posing serious questions that every American should be asking themselves amid the Biden administration’s disastrous open border policies and mishandling of the U.S. troop withdrawal from Afghanistan.
“Who are all of the people coming into our Country?” Trump asked regarding millions of undocumented immigrants allowed to come to the United States.
Since Biden assumed office in January, Border Patrol officials estimate that one million people crossed the southern border between Texas and Mexico by July 2021, alone. If migration from countries, such as Guatemala, El Salvador, Honduras, and more, continues at this pace, officials project a total of two million illegal immigrants will have crossed the border by December.
On top of border security concerns, Trump brought attention to “unvetted refugees” from Afghanistan whose loyalties may not lie with the United States.
“In addition to the Southern Border, with millions of unvetted people pouring in, we now have tens of thousands of totally unvetted Afghans, who many say are not the ones that should have come in,” said Trump concerning the Afghan refugees flown in by the tens of thousands last month by the Biden administration.
Although many of the Afghan refugees fleeing the Taliban regime are SIV applicants who assisted U.S. forces during the 20-year war, some of them are unknown. The Biden administration reportedly did not properly vet each person who was evacuated on a U.S. flight out of the country, which could allow for potential terrorists to infiltrate America.
“How many terrorists are among them?” Trump asked. “How much money is this costing?”
“With all of these developments, our Country is more unsafe now than ever before—and many Americans are still left behind!” the 45th president noted. Dozens, possibly hundreds, of Americans still remain stranded in Afghanistan with help yet to be seen.
Joe Biden’s decision to allow illegal immigrants and unscreened refugees to come to the United States could result in detrimental consequences for American citizens, both at home and abroad, if his unsafe policies continue.
