The Trump Organization’s attorneys are filing a complaint against Democrat New York Attorney General Letitia James for her “political” investigations of them after her three-year long probe that has so far produced no evidence of wrongdoings.

The Trumps have accused James of politically targeting them so she can “garner votes, money,” and “political support.”

Democrat New York Attorney General James vowed to investigate President Trump and his family’s business, but has reported no evidence that the group committed any wrongdoings after more than three years of investigations.

“This conduct is an embarrassment to New York,” Eric Trump told Daily Mail. “Last week, an 11-month-old girl was shot in the face on New York streets. Crime is absolutely rampant, homelessness is through the roof, two brave law enforcement officers were just executed, and 1.9 percent of New Yorkers have fled the state in the last 12 months,” he added.

Trump continued, “Yet, Letitia’s sole focus, and all the resources of her office, remains on getting Donald Trump — the leader of the Republican Party.”

The complaint claims that James was determined to take down President Trump and his family long before she got into office or saw any evidence.

The Trumps’ lawyers also accused the attorney general of using her investigations to raise money for her political campaigns.

According to reports, James recently sent out an email out to her followers in January, saying that she has “fought tirelessly to defend the vulnerable and voiceless against all threats,” adding that “not even the President of the United States – is above the law.”

She then reportedly asked recipients to answer a poll on whether they “approve of Donald Trump as president.”

The Trump Organization is accusing Letitia James of targeting them for her own political benefit, according to their legal complaint.

“Letitia James is not working on behalf of the attorney general’s office. She is working for the DNC and using the resources of the State of New York to further her own political ambition,” Eric Trump told Daily Mail.

“This is the opportunistic targeting of a political opponent during a campaign year,” he added.

In 2019, James began investigating President Trump, his family, and their companies shortly after promising during her campaign to mercilessly investigate them upon her election, which is a possible violation of Federal Election Commission (FEC) rules.

“I look forward to going into the office of attorney general every day, suing him, defending your rights, and then going home,” James told crowds during a campaign event in July 2018.

After beginning her investigation, James claimed to have found “significant evidence” that the Trump Organization “used fraudulent or misleading asset valuations” to obtain “loans, insurance coverage, and tax deductions.”

However, James has not revealed any evidence that the Trump Organization took part in any wrongdoing after investigating the group for more than three years.

President Trump blasted her “witch hunt” investigation, calling the attorney general “nothing but a corrupt official” doing the “dirty work” of her party.

Trump sued James after she subpoenaed him in November. He said her subpoena, “guided solely by political animus,” was just an effort to publicly smear him and his associates. He also recently sought an injunction to stop the probe.

45th President Donald Trump’s eldest children, Donald Trump Jr. and Ivanka Trump, refused to comply with the subpoenas issued to them by the Letitia James and the Democrat-controlled New York Attorney General’s office.

The 45th president’s eldest children, Donald Trump Jr. and Ivanka Trump, also refused to comply with the subpoenas issued to them by the New York Attorney General’s office.

Eric Trump, the second-eldest son of President Trump, was questioned by James in October 2020 after a judge forced him to testify.

The Trump Organization’s lawyers believe James colluded with former Manhattan District Attorney Cyrus Vance, who also launched an investigation into the Trumps, to run parallel criminal and civil cases, which they claimed prevents a fair trial and violates the New York Constitution.

With the statute of limitations deadline approaching, James has until April to levy criminal charges against the Trumps, who will surely put up a relentless fight back.
