President Donald Trump made a bold vow on Friday evening to decentralize the American education system and return that responsibility to the sovereign states.

“I want to move our education system back to the STATES,” he announced, going off-script.

The crowd erupted into cheers.

He also promised, “On day one I will sign a new EO to cut federal funding for any school pushing CRT, transgender insanity and other inappropriate racial, sexual, or political content on our children.”

Trump’s comments were made in Pennsylvania at the Moms for Liberty: Joyful Warriors National Summit.

“I think the states will do a fantastic job,” he reiterated.
