President Trump has yet again offered Americans a policy reprieve in the wake of the violent Atlanta riots this week, outlining an effective plan to restore public safety and protect law-abiding citizens.

“The vicious riots in Atlanta carried out by the anti-police, radical left anarchists are an abomination, and it has to stop,” he stated in a new policy video.

He continued, “These extremists smashed windows, set fire to a police cruiser, destroyed businesses, laid waste to downtown Atlanta, and were even found carrying explosives. They wanted to kill people, but they didn’t quite have that opportunity. But they would have, and they wouldn’t have lost any sleep over it.”

The Atlanta riots come after violent protesters took to the streets to voice their apparent outrage over the death of 26-year-old Manuel Esteban Paez Teran, who was shot and killed by the Georgia State Patrol, according to Fox News. Per the outlet, Teran was allegedly killed after he shot and wounded a state trooper attempting to remove protestors from the planned site of an Atlanta Public Safety Training Center.

“Nothing will happen to most of these rioters because of the Marxist prosecutors who have seized control of the justice system in Atlanta,” Trump said.

Trump pointed out, “As always, it’s hard-working, law-abiding citizens of all backgrounds who pay the price for this radical left extremism, sponsored by George Soros, it seems.”

Per Fox News, Gov. Brian Kemp, R-Ga., issued a state of emergency order on Thursday that called for 1,000 National Guard troops to crack down on a potential escalation of violence in Atlanta over the weekend.

“The rioters who attack our wonderful police officers and destroy so many lives must be punished to the fullest extent of the law,” Trump added. “And when I’m president again, if Marxist prosecutors betray their oaths and refuse to protect our citizens I will not hesitate to send in federal law enforcement to restore peace and public safety.”
