President Donald Trump responded on social media Monday after an illegal immigrant was convicted for the murder of Rachel Morin.
Trump shared his reaction on Truth Social following the guilty verdict in the case of Victor Martinez-Hernandez, who murdered the Maryland mother in 2023.
“Moments ago, the Illegal Criminal, who was allowed into our Country by Crooked Joe Biden, was convicted of the heinous murder of Rachel Morin. Rachel was a beautiful mother of five from Maryland, and her life was taken at the hands of a monster who should have NEVER been here in the first place,” the president wrote.
“The Fake News should be focusing on the beautiful life and tragic death of this Maryland Mother, rather than the so-called “Maryland Father,” who is actually an MS-13 Gang Member and Foreign Terrorist from El Salvador. We will never forget Rachel Morin, and are committed to protecting women like her across our Country. We will deport Illegal Murderers, Rapists, and Criminals. MAKE AMERICA GREAT AGAIN!” he added.
A jury found Martinez-Hernandez guilty of first-degree premeditated murder, first-degree rape, a third-degree sex offense, and kidnapping.
Rachel Morin, a 37-year-old mother of five, was discovered dead on August 6, 2023, near the Ma & Pa Trail in Harford County, one day after she went out for a run. Nearly 10 months later, Martinez-Hernandez was apprehended in Oklahoma. Authorities say he illegally crossed into the U.S. from El Salvador in 2023 and is believed to have gang affiliations.
Trump joined Morin’s mother in a visit to the southern border during his presidential campaign last year where he vowed to fight migrant crime.
“We are losing our moms and daughters to criminals, and this shouldn’t happen. We should be taking care of our country and our people. The only way this is going to happen is by reelecting President Trump. Take this to heart,” said Rachel Morin’s mother.
As RSBN previously reported, Rachel, a 37-year-old mother of five, was a devoted runner who frequently ran a trail in Maryland that her family had used for years. Rachel was brutally beaten and raped before being left behind in a drain pipe by illegal immigrant criminals.
Rachel’s mother also highlighted that two other American citizens in her county had also been raped and murdered by illegal immigrants.
