President Donald Trump returned to Mar-a-Lago Sunday to visit the scene of the FBI’s raid on his residence.

Prior to his trip to Mar-a-Lago, Trump announced his plan to examine it for himself, saying, “I’ll soon be heading to the scene of the unwarranted, unjust, and illegal Raid and Break-In of my home in Florida, Mar-a-Lago.”

Trump said the trip would allow him to see, “the results of the unnecessary ransacking of rooms and other areas of the house” after the FBI’s unprecedented raid on a president’s residence in August.

The FBI raid on Mar-a-Lago has been a source of deep controversy in national politics for over a month, with many Americans concerned that the unprecedented raid could result in further action by the FBI against the MAGA movement.

Last week, MyPillow CEO Mike Lindell announced the FBI had surrounded him and confiscated his phone. Trump warned Americans, “We are now officially living in a Weaponized Police State.”

In his announcement on Truth Social, Trump said the documents seized by the FBI were “wrongfully taken” from his residence. He added, “The 4th Amendment, and much more, has been totally violated, a grave invasion of privacy.” The 45th president also told his supporters he will continue to keep the American people informed of the “TRUTH” concerning the FBI’s actions.

Recently, the Justice Department attempted to appeal U.S. District Judge Aileen Cannon’s decision to appoint a special master to review the classified documents seized by FBI agents at Mar-a-Lago. However, in a major ruling last week, Cannon struck down the Justice Department’s appeal and explained that the decision to appoint a special master, “is fully consonant with the foregoing principles and with the need to ensure at least the appearance of fairness and integrity under unprecedented circumstances.”

After celebrating this legal victory last week, Trump arrived in Mar-a-Lago Sunday night to visit the scene of the FBI’s raid. As the 45th president returned to his residence, he was met by a large crowd of Trump supporters.

After visiting Mar-a-Lago, Trump posted a statement to Truth Social on Monday, saying, “Arrived in Florida last night and had a long and detailed chance to check out the scene of yet another government ‘crime,’ the FBI’s Raid and Break-In of my home, Mar-a-Lago.” Trump continued, “I guess they don’t think there is a Fourth Amendment anymore, and to them, there isn’t.”

According to Trump, Mar-a-Lago will “never be the same” after the FBI’s raid while the 45th president was away from his residence. According to his account, the Justice Department left his residence in poor condition.

Trump said, “It was ‘ransacked,’ and in far different condition than the way I left it. Many Agents – And they didn’t even take off their shoes in my bedroom. Nice!!!”
