President Donald Trump pulled no punches with his statements on Wednesday, naming numerous former officials whose staffers would be excluded from working alongside his new administration.
In a post to Truth Social, President Trump celebrated the new administration’s 1,000 hires as “outstanding in every way,” and that Americans would soon see “the fruits of their labor over the coming years.”
However, he then explained that he would not be including anyone who worked for 11 specific officials, including several members of his previous cabinet, in order to “save time, money, and effort.”
The president-elect listed that he would avoid hiring anyone working with, or endorsed by, “Americans for No Prsperity,” led by Charles Koch, along with former Utah Republican Sen. Mitt Romney, and former GOP House Speaker Paul Ryan, two of President Trump’s most frequent intra-party critics.
The president-elect further listed “disloyal Warmongers” former Vice President Dick Cheney, and “his Psycho daughter” former Wyoming GOP Rep. Liz Cheney, who campaigned heavily against him during the campaign season.
While in the House, Liz Cheney served as vice chair of the congressional January 6 Committee, and previously voted for the president’s second impeachment.
Among members from his previous cabinet, the president-elect listed National Security Advisor “Dumb as a Rock” John Bolton, former United Nations ambassador and 2024 GOP primary opponent “Birdbrain” Nikki Haley, “General” Mark Milley, former Defense Secretaries James Mattis and Mark “Yesper,” and former Vice President Mike Pence.
He concluded that these members and their previous staffers, along with “any of the other people suffering from Trump Derangement Syndrome, more commonly known as TDS,” would be excluded from the administration.
With many of those criticized being members of his former cabinet, President Trump previously explained that he felt the “biggest mistake” of his first term was picking “bad, disloyal people” to serve with him.
“I picked some great people, you know, but you don’t think about that,” the president told Joe Rogan during his interview in October. “I picked some people that I shouldn’t have picked.”
With confirmation hearings underway, the president-elect’s new administration appears far different than his first, having more outsiders including Robert F. Kennedy Jr., Elon Musk and Vivek Ramaswamy.
