President Donald Trump questioned why the FBI found it necessary to raid his Florida home Monday evening since he would have given them access to the White House documents had they asked. He suggested that the agency did not need to “seize anything.”

“Number one, it was all declassified. Number two, they didn’t need to ‘seize’ anything. They could have had it anytime they wanted without playing politics and breaking into Mar-a-Lago. It was in secured storage, with an additional lock put on as per their request…” President Trump posted on Truth Social.

“…They could have had it anytime they wanted—and that includes LONG ago. ALL THEY HAD TO DO WAS ASK,” Trump added in a continued post.

In a separate post, Trump revealed that in June, the Department of Justice (DOJ) and the FBI asked his legal representatives to place “an extra lock on the door leading to the place where boxes were stored in Mar-a-Lago,” insisting that the government agencies “were shown the secured area, and the boxes themselves.”

Despite this, “without notification or warning, an army of agents broke into Mar-a-Lago, went to the same storage area, and ripped open the lock that they had asked to be installed,” Trump continued.

As RSBN previously reported, President Trump revealed Monday evening that his Mar-a-Lago home had been “under siege” by FBI agents.

Trump condemned the “unannounced raid” and criticized the FBI for refusing to allow his attorneys to be present as they rammed through his personal belongings.

Trump attorney Christina Bobb told RSBN’s Brian Glenn, “There are no crimes here [Mar-a-Lago],” adding that “no president has ever been prosecuted for something that they’ve removed from the White House on their way out of office.”
