In an early Friday morning Truth Social post, President Donald Trump amplified former President Barack Obama’s on-camera admission that the Harris campaign was struggling.

“Obama admits a total lack of enthusiasm for Kamala, especially with Black Men. I think Obama will be voting for me because he doesn’t like the fact that Kamala is an extremely Low IQ Person!” Trump wrote.

While speaking at a campaign office in Pittsburgh, Obama told a group of people that he was getting concerning reports “from campaigns and communities.”

“We have not yet seen the same kinds of energy and turnout in all quarters of our neighborhoods and communities as we saw when I was running,” Obama remarked.

He told the group, “Now, I also want to say that that seems to be more pronounced with the brothers. So, if you don’t mind, just for a second, I’m gonna speak to y’all directly.”

Obama used identity politics and claimed that Harris was “somebody who grew up like you,” and “went to college which ya, understands the struggles and pain and joy that comes from those experiences.”

He said Harris has had to “work harder and do more” to reach the office of the vice president.

Obama continued his remarks, arguing, “And you’re coming up with all kinds of reasons and excuses. I’ve got a problem with that. Because part of it makes me think—and I’m speaking to men directly—part of it makes me think that, well, you just aren’t feeling the idea of having a woman as president, and you’re coming up with other alternatives and other reasons for that.”

Obama then claimed that Trump had a history of denigrating black people and told the group that it was not acceptable to forgo voting or to vote for Trump because Harris is a woman.

Users on social media instantly responded to Obama’s remarks. GOP Youth Advisory Co-Chair CJ Pearson wrote on X, “My name is CJ Pearson. I’m 22 years old. And in 25 days, I’ll be joining millions of other young black men and voting for Donald J. Trump! And we don’t give a d*mn about what Barack Obama has to say about it.”

CNN Pundit Scott Jennings blasted Obama and Democrats for their reaction to the low enthusiasm for Harris.

“I don’t think it’s helpful to insult a group of people who are already not enthusiastic about your campaign,” Jennings told the on-air hosts.
