President Donald Trump will be traveling to the great state of South Dakota next week to join the South Dakota Republican Party for the Monumental Leaders Rally at “The Monument” in Rapid City.
The rally will be held on Friday, September 8, at 5:30 pm MT.
South Dakota Governor Kristi Noem (R) will also join the rally as a special guest, according to an official press release.
The SD Republican Party stated, “This event will mark the first time President Trump will be in South Dakota since the Mount Rushmore Fireworks Celebration in 2020. President Trump is the front runner in the Republican Presidential primary.”
According to Real Clear Politics, Trump has a massive 45-point lead in the latest 2024 GOP primary poll from The Messenger/HarrisX. Trump also has 58 percent of support among the GOP electorate this week, per Morning Consult’s most recent primary data.
Doors to the event will open at 2:30 pm MT.
