President Donald Trump will deliver keynote remarks at the National Rifle Association’s (NRA) President Forum at their Great American Outdoor Show in February, the NRA announced on Monday.

In an official statement, the NRA confirmed the 45th president’s speaking engagement at their NRA Presidential Forum, scheduled for Friday, February 9, in Harrisburg, Pennsylvania.

The NRA noted:

“This marks President Trump’s eighth address to NRA members, reaffirming his enduring commitment to the Second Amendment and the American tradition of firearm ownership. President Trump first addressed the NRA in Nashville in 2015, since then, he has been a steadfast advocate for the NRA, the Second Amendment, and self-defense rights, emphasizing this in subsequent speeches at NRA events, including his promise in 2016 to never let NRA members down.”

Last year, President Trump delivered the keynote address at the NRA’s Annual Meeting in Indianapolis, Indiana, where he vowed to continue to protect Second Amendment rights for all Americans.

NRA-ILA Executive Director Randy Kozuch stated, “President Trump’s presence at the Great American Outdoor Show is a testament to his ongoing commitment to our constitutional freedoms. His leadership has been crucial in safeguarding the rights of hunters, sportsmen, and all Americans who cherish our outdoor heritage.”

The NRA’s Great American Outdoor Show is “the world’s largest outdoor show” and will include more than 1,000 exhibitors over the course of nine days, according to the official press statement.

The president’s scheduled speech at the NRA’s big event will take place just one day after the anticipated Nevada GOP caucus on February 8.
