On Christmas Eve, President Trump released a heartfelt tribute, recounting on Christmas Day in 2018 when he surprised U.S. soldiers stationed in Afghanistan during his first term. Narrated by Governor Sarah Huckabee Sanders, this touching montage pays tribute to President Trump honoring and respecting our nation’s heroes in uniform by bringing a piece of home with him.

The thunderous cheers and standing ovation from the U.S. soldiers in the video of President Trump’s surprise visit serve as a reminder the people’s president will be making a return to the White House on January 20, 2025.

Thousands of military personnel will be unable to go home for the holidays to spend time with their families, as they continue to serve and protect the U.S. from harm.  According to Global Power, over 1.3 million U.S. men and women are actively deployed in military bases and war zones worldwide.

This Christmas season is the greatest time to be grateful for the blessings we have as Americans for our freedom, thanks to our heroic men and women in the U.S. military.
