Trump slams gas-powered vehicle ban mandates in California

President Trump addressed the crowd at the Coachella rally on Saturday, stating that he would end California’s 100 percent ban on the sale of gas-powered vehicles and trucks on his first day back in the White House.

By 2035, a measure from California will mandate a ban on gas-powered vehicle sales as a policy to combat climate change with zero emissions, according to the executive order from Gov. Gavin Newsom.

However, President Trump conveys his message to Californians that he will allow the free market to thrive under his second term as president, instead of the government mandates .

Trump fosters technological advancement and innovation through competition and consumer demand with all the automakers through the free market, including electric vehicles, especially with Elon Musk being the CEO of Tesla.
