President Trump conducted his first interview after the second failed assassination attempt with Farokh, the founder of Rug Radio, during and interview on X Monday night.

Trump revealed that his sons Barron, Eric, and Donald Trump Jr. are currently actively involved in investing in the cryptocurrency market. He disclosed during the interview that Barron owns four digital wallets.

Trump spoke out in favor of the future of cryptocurrency as an option for digital currency. Looking toward the future of the U.S., he spoke with confidence and optimism about America leading the way in innovating with technology through cryptocurrency and AI. Cryptocurrency is based on blockchain technology as decentralized translations without regulations from the traditional banking system.

He explained with a bold statement to Farokh the advantages of cryptocurrency from his perspective through the official non-fungible token (NFT) digital trading cards, which he sold for his campaign.

“If there is one thing that got you to see crypto differently what was it? Maybe the NFTs are because of the percentage we sold via cryptocurrency. Also the level of enthusiasm by my sons and some of my friends,” Trump said.

Trump also mentioned that his campaign is currently receiving donations in cryptocurrency. By doing this interview with Farokh, President Trump sought to reach a younger generation of undecided voters and independents who are currently paving the way toward cryptocurrency as a popular form of digital payment.

Trump also addressed the shooting at his golf course on Sunday that marked the second attempt on his life in two months.

“So I was playing golf with some of my friends on Sunday morning –  very peaceful, very beautiful weather,” Trump said. “Everything was beautiful, nice place to be, and all of a sudden we heard shots being fired in the air … I guess probably four or five.

“Secret Service knew immediately it was bullets, and they grabbed me,” he continued.

“We got into the carts, and we moved along pretty, pretty good,” Trump added. “I was with an agent, and the agent did a fantastic job. There was no question that we were getting off that course.”

Trump also joked about wanted to finish his last putt as part of his response to the shooting.

“I would have loved to have sank that last putt, but we decided, let’s get out of here,” Trump said.
