President Donald Trump headed to Freeland, Michigan, on Wednesday evening, just hours after hitting it out of the park in Waukesha, Wisconsin, with eager supporters.
The president rolled into the rally in Freeland on Trump Force One, disembarking from his plane and walking directly up to the podium, where he was greeted by a massive crowd of MAGA supporters holding signs, waving flags, and cheering his arrival.
Trump said, “Hello Michigan! It’s great to be back in this beautiful state with thousands of proud, hardworking, God-fearing American patriots – which is what you are!”
“On day one we will throw out Bidenomics and reinstate a thing called MAGANOMICS!” he added.
President Trump’s remarks in Michigan mirrored the thematic message of his speech in Wisconsin, focusing on the importance of fixing the United States economy in 2025. He hammered Joe Biden’s failing economy, railing against “stagflation” and vowing to bring the auto industry “back to Michigan.”
“With your help we’re going to WIN Michigan this November!” he declared. “…We’re going to defeat Crooked Joe Biden and this November we’re going to MAKE AMERICA GREAT AGAIN!”
He commented that the people of Michigan, in November, were going to tell Crooked Joe, “YOU’RE FIRED!”
Next to Trump onstage was an empty podium with the words: “ANYTIME. ANYWHERE. ANYPLACE.” It referred to Joe Biden’s seeming unwillingness to debate Trump in the general election.
