President Donald Trump spoke to concerned and striking United Auto Workers (UAW) in Clinton Township, Michigan on Wednesday night, presenting a sparkling vision of “economic nationalism” that would lead to American wealth and success once again.

The president delivered his remarks at Drake Enterprises and was greeted by huge cheers and applause.  He declared, “There are countless thousands of auto workers…worried about the future and what the future holds for themselves and their incredible families.”

The crowd periodically broke out into cheers of “USA” as he spoke.

“YOU are the ones that make our country RUN, you know that?” he remarked.

He told the audience that he had spent his “whole life working alongside Americans just like you,” and now, “I put everything on the line to fight for you. I’ve risked it all to defend the working class from the corrupt political class sucking the life, wealth, and blood out of this country.”

The president laid out a “vision for a revival of economic nationalism” that would protect “American labor NOT foreign labor.”

He said that he envisioned an American future that protected “American dreams over foreign profits.”

With Biden, he noted, “Instead of economic nationalism you have ultra left-wing globalism – they hate our country and the workers of our country are getting – to put it very nicely – they’re getting SCREWED.”
