President Donald J. Trump issued a powerful America First message on Monday, sounding the alarm on the devastating consequences of radical Democrat policies.

In a Truth Social post, the 47th president wrote, “Crime in American Cities started to significantly rise when they went to CASHLESS BAIL. The WORST criminals are flooding our streets and endangering even our great law enforcement officers. It is a complete disaster, and must be ended, IMMEDIATELY!”

The president’s bold statement underscored his unwavering commitment to restoring law and order and prioritizing the safety of American citizens over dangerous, ideologically driven experiments.

Championed by far-left activists, cashless bail has unleashed havoc in cities like Los Angeles, Chicago, and New York. Dangerous individuals, including repeat offenders, often walk free without being required to pay bail, which often emboldens criminal behavior.

Opponents of cashless bail argue that the radical policy has led to increased risks for law enforcement officers. Trump has continuously prioritized the safety of law enforcement officers over catering to progressive agendas.

While many cashless bail policies are state-wide, some are isolated to historically Democratic-controlled cities, where law enforcement officers already face heightened risks. Illegal aliens in so-called sanctuary cities have also benefited from cashless bail.

Upon entering office, Trump immediately cracked down on violence against law enforcement officers at the federal level.

Department of Homeland Security (DHS) Secretary Kristi Noem made clear that targeting federal agents would never go unpunished after an off-duty Customs and Border Protection (CBP) agent was shot by an illegal alien in New York City on July 19.

On Monday, Noem delivered an update after a second suspect, also an illegal alien, was arrested by Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE).

“I want to remind you that this individual had been arrested four different times before this act happened on Saturday night. Arrested and released, again, and again, and again. And what did we think was gonna happen from policies like that? When you take a dangerous individual and you allow them to never face any consequences for the acts that they’re perpetuating against the public, and then you end up in a situation that could have been prevented,” Noem told reporters during a press briefing.

Noem said DHS was praying and would “walk alongside” the agent’s family, but added, “We’re gonna double down and make sure that these criminal illegal aliens are not only off our streets but they’re out of our country. And then once again, America can be a country where the rule of law matters. Where the laws apply to everyone equally, and never once is an illegal alien put above an American citizen or their safety and their opportunity to have the American dream.”
