In a recent Fox News poll, former President Donald Trump surged ahead with an impressive 30-point lead in the Republican primary race, leaving his opponents in the dust. The results are a testament to the enduring support that Trump commands within the Republican Party.

The outlet reported that “Republican primary voters were read a list of 15 announced and potential candidates for the 2024 nomination. The survey, released Wednesday, finds Trump has doubled his lead since February and is up by 30 points over Ron DeSantis (54%-24%). Last month, he was up by 15 (43%-28%).”

A jovial Trump wasted no time in responding to the poll results, taking to his social media platform on Wednesday to share his views.

He posted, “The new Fox Poll has just been released and, it’s bad news for Ron DeSanctimonious and his RINO Globalist Donors, probably because of his terrible Votes against Social Security and MediCare, and also, of course, because people love the job I did as President of the United States. We were Number One in every category, respected all over the World, and now our Country is going down the ‘tubes’—We are a Failing Nation!”

Later on that same day, in another post, Trump shared some of his additional thoughts on the poll results and took another dig at his most visible and probable political opponents, writing, “I would be willing to bet that the Fox News viewers are VERY happy about the just released Fox News polling that shows Ron DeSanctimonious being absolutely CRUSHED and, more importantly, dropping like a ROCK!”

The Fox News poll shows Trump with over 50 percent support in the Republican primary race, which is a testament to his continued popularity among Republican voters. While some may question the accuracy of polling data, there is no denying the enthusiasm and support that Trump continues to generate among his supporters.

Trump’s high level of support in the Republican primary race sets the stage for a potential run for the presidency in 2024.

If he does decide to run, he would undoubtedly be a strong contender for the Republican nomination. The continued support he enjoys among his base is a testament to the impact he had during his presidency and his ongoing commitment to putting America first.
