President Trump’s team revealed Thursday it plans to launch a new, Twitter-like social media platform in the coming days as the fight against cancel culture and Big Tech censorship continues. Click HERE to reserve your name.
Former Trump adviser Jason Miller is leading the platform coined “GETTR” which is described as effort to lead the way in “fighting cancel culture, promoting common sense, defending free speech, challenging social media monopolies, and creating a true marketplace of ideas.”
GETTR will be ready for use on Sunday, the 4th of July, at 10 a.m., Miller announced on Thursday. Reserve your name HERE.
“Exciting news,” Miller exclaimed. “Official kickoff is 10am Sunday – Independence Day!!!”
The “cutting-edge” platform’s sign-up page states that users will be allowed to engage in trending topics, like and share different posts, scroll through the newsfeed, and become verified.
The platform’s launch comes just months after Trump was permanently banned from Twitter and temporarily banned from Facebook for two years – a move that critics highlight as an effort by the far-left to silence conservatives on the web.
Since Trump was silenced by Big Tech, conservatives began looking for a platform that supports free speech without censoring users for their political views. Trump’s GETTR app, which is still in beta testing, has been downloaded thousands of times already and can be found in app stores for users worldwide.
According to an Axios report, additional Trump White House officials are expected to join the platform when it is officially rolled out.
Trump is not currently active on the platform, however, it remains unclear if this will change. To be one of the first to be invited to GETTR, click HERE now!
