President Trump on Saturday took a swing at the illegality of Wisconsin’s absentee drop boxes following the state Supreme Court’s Friday ruling to ban them from widespread use.

“Yesterday, we got big news out of the Great State of Wisconsin,” Trump wrote in a statement shared on Truth Social.

The 45th president continued, “The Wisconsin Supreme Court ruled that the widespread use of Ballot Drop Boxes across the State is totally ILLEGAL. Just as I have said all along, the use of these UNMANNED, UNSECURED DROP BOXES was NEVER AUTHORIZED BY THE STATE LEGISLATURE – but Partisan Radical Democrat officials simply did it anyway…”

Drop boxes were placed throughout Wisconsin – and throughout the country – following the onset of the coronavirus pandemic in 2020. They have become the subject of investigation related to reports of election fraud, primarily in the form of ballot trafficking, or “stuffing” the ballot box.

Trump also pointed out on Friday that, based on the state Supreme Court’s ruling in Wisconsin, “This means I won the very closely contested (not actually!) Wisconsin Presidential race because they used this corrupt and scandal-ridden Scam Boxes.”

Filmmaker and conservative commentator Dinesh D’Souza’s hit documentary, “2000 Mules” revealed evidence that Wisconsin was one of five key battleground states targeted by a nationwide ballot trafficking conspiracy.

D’Souza commented on Twitter, “Multiple ‘fact checks’ on #2000Mules insisted that mail-in dropboxes and ballot harvesting were LEGAL in Wisconsin. Now the state Supreme Court says the boxes themselves were ILLEGAL. I’m not expecting these dishonest scribes to issue corrections, but I am saying, ‘I told you so.’”

President Trump additionally called on Republican Speaker of the State Assembly Robin Vos and the Wisconsin GOP to take action to preserve election security in light of the Supreme Court’s ruling.

He concluded, “…In other words, THEY SYSTEMATICALLY VIOLATED THE LAW TO RIG THE 2020 ELECTION. Now, everyone involved in perpetrating this travesty needs to be investigated and held fully accountable, and Speaker Robin Vos and the Republicans must stand up proud and do something, for once, about this atrocity!”
