President Trump is making his return to the Lone Star State on Sunday to celebrate Christmas at the First Baptist Church of Dallas.
In a tweet from the church’s twitter account, the caption reads, “We are honored to have 45th President, Donald J. Trump join us for Christmas worship.” The details of the service include a message preached by Pastor Jeffress on the “birth of our Savior,” as well as a “Christmas greeting,” from President Trump at the conclusion of the worship service.
First Baptist Church of Dallas is pastored by Robert Jeffress, a friend and political ally of Trump’s. The evangelical pastor has been an unwavering supporter of President Trump and was one of the earliest faith leaders to vocalize their endorsement of him.
Following the morning gathering, Trump will commute to the American Airlines Center in Dallas to commence another “History Tour,” stop with legendary journalist, Bill O’Reilly.
The 45th president and former Fox News anchor revealed in June that the duo would travel the nation to discuss the Trump presidency in front of live audiences. The tour launched it’s first of four shows in Sunrise, Fla., in front of a packed-out venue where it took 40 seconds to capture a panoramic view of the back of the line. The shoot-from-the-hip interviews have proven to be a favorite among the crowds and Trump himself, calling the event “very exciting” and “fun.”
The Dallas event concludes the tour, but not without President Trump’s strong defense of the Christian holiday, Christmas. In a preview of a special Christmas interview with former Arkansas Gov. Mike Huckabee, Trump said, “America loves Christmas.”
