President Donald Trump called on the Jan. 6 “Unselect” committee last week to allow Republicans to present evidence of election fraud in the 2020 election: “To the Unselects I ask, LET US PUT ON THE EVIDENCE, STATE BY STATE- AND NOW!”
“The only thing not discussed by the Unselects, in any way, shape, or form, is the irrefutable evidence of massive and totally pervasive ELECTION FRAUD & IRREGULARITIES which took place during the 2020 Presidential Election,” the president posted on Truth Social.
Trump said the panel has failed to recognize that “January 6 was not simply a protest” but “about an Election that was Rigged and Stolen, and a Country that was about to go to HELL.”
However, Trump added the partisan House panel investigating the events of Jan. 6 has refused to discuss election fraud because “it would be IMPOSSIBLE for the Unselect Committee to refute or challenge that which would be put before them, or the American Public,” Trump added.
Regarding election fraud, the committee aired a video clip of former Attorney General Bill Barr’s dismissive comments about fraud, to which the “2000 Mules” filmmaker, Dinesh D’Souza, pushed back.
“The level of ignorance displayed by Bill Barr here is truly stunning,” D’Souza said about Barr’s remarks downplaying geotracking, which True the Vote used to track ballot harvesting across the country.
“If geotracking is as useless as #BillBarr says, how come it’s being used to establish the precise location of Jan. 6 protesters?” D’Souza rebutted.
“Not merely whether they are inside or outside the building but how many feet inside or outside the door? Can the fat man explain this without laughing?” he added.
The president last week also demanded “equal time” on national television networks to counterattack the committee’s claims, which seek to blame Trump and Republicans for the unrest at the Capitol.
