Next week, President Donald Trump will give an important address at the Heritage Foundation’s 2022 leadership conference. The 45th president’s address will mark the first time he has delivered a speech to the group in five years.
Heritage President Kevin Roberts announced the event, saying, “We need bold leaders who speak candidly, and President Trump is unafraid to do so—even as Big Tech and the media attempt to silence him.”
Expressing his gratitude for the 45th president’s upcoming address, Roberts said, “We’re grateful that he will join us in Florida to discuss the significant issues facing our country and pinpoint the failures of the Biden-Harris regime.”
The event will occur in Amelia Island, Florida, around 5:45 p.m. EDT on April 21. Trump’s highly anticipated address will be attended by a private audience of about 200 guests.
Recently, the Heritage Foundation released a new set of America First-aligned policies that it will prioritize starting in 2022. The seven new policies include: “Empower parents to make education choices. Secure America’s borders and reduce crime. Ensure free and fair elections. Reverse the growth of spending and inflation. Counter the threat of Communist China. Hold Big Tech accountable. Protect the unborn.”
Heritage has held multiple events featuring strong conservative leaders and former Trump administration officials. The organization recently held events featuring prominent figures such as Secretary of State Mike Pompeo and Florida Gov. Ron DeSantis.
Trump’s upcoming address will not be the first time he has delivered a speech to the organization. The 45th president also addressed the Heritage Foundation during his first year in office in 2017 to present his tax reform policy.
