President Donald Trump took a moment to celebrate his historic Republican primary nomination victory this week during remarks in Dayton, Ohio, touting his string of victories that rocketed him past the magic, 1,215 delegates needed to clinch the big win.
He said, “We clinched a thing called the Republican nomination for President of the United States!”
Trump’s comments were made at a “Buckeye Values PAC Rally” in support of Republican U.S. Senate candidate Bernie Moreno. The president thrilled the crowd by rolling up to the rally on Trump Force One and stepping directly from the aircraft and straight to the stage.
“On Tuesday we won Georgia, Hawaii, Mississippi, and Washington – we won them in record numbers, by the way!” Trump told the audience.
“SOMETHING’S going on here!” he remarked at on point, pointing to the record crowds and historic support across the nation for his 2024 presidential campaign.
He called this week’s big victory an “unbelievable night.”
“With your vote, we’re going to take back the Senate, we’re going to win Ohio,” Trump continued, hammering home the importance of “following up our historic victory this week” by delivering a “rock solid majority in the Senate” and in the U.S. House in November 2024.
