President Donald Trump told an excited audience in Delaware, Ohio, on Saturday that Truth Social, his recently-launched free speech social media platform, is “open and ready to go.” The 45th president encouraged the crowd to “go out and use it and have fun with it.”
President Trump also openly discussed the partnership between Truth Social and Rumble, the popular and up-and-coming video streaming platform, which recently enabled Truth Social to onboard millions of users who had been waitlisted.
“Our team’s working around the clock,” Trump stated. “…Big Tech has banned so many Americans; there’s nobody left to ban!”
Additionally, President Trump talked about the censorship of the radical left, citing Twitter as an example and calling the platform a “real mess.”
Trump added that Truth Social would cancel the “plague of radical leftists that’s destroying America.”
Devin Nunes, the CEO of Trump Media & Technology Group (TMTG), recently stated in an interview with Newsmax’s Chis Salcedo that the new merger with Rumble, as well as a new data center, will enable Truth Social to continue to expand.
It is now capable of hosting millions of new users who have been waiting to be onboarded for weeks.
President Trump also promised audience members that the app would be available for non-iPhone users “very, very soon.”
