President Donald Trump vowed to create millions of jobs and make America a “manufacturing powerhouse” on Tuesday.
Trump shared the economic policies during his remarks on the tax code and U.S. manufacturing in Savannah, Georgia.
“This New American Industrialism will create millions of jobs, massively raise wages for American workers, and make the United States into a manufacturing powerhouse,” Trump said.
“We will be able to build ships again. We will be able to build airplanes again. We will become the world leader in Robotics. The U.S. auto industry will once again be the envy of the planet,” he added.
Trump also called for an end to the “nightmare” for American workers under the Biden-Harris administration.
“It’s no wonder that under Kamala Harris we lost 24,000 manufacturing jobs last month, 24,000. We’re going to turn that around so fast. We had created 650,000 manufacturing jobs before we even got ready to do it and now we’re ready. We’re ready to do it and the country’s ready to do it. We need it. We have to have it. We need a renaissance. It’s going to be a renaissance,” he stated.
“This horrific nightmare for American workers ends the day I take the oath of office January 20th,” he continued.
Trump also spoke predicted a mass exodus of manufacturing from other nations during his second term.
“I’m not going to allow Japan to buy U.S. steel. I’m not going to let it happen… vote for Trump and you will see a mass exodus of manufacturing from China to Pennsylvania, from Korea to North Carolina, from Germany to right here in Georgia. They’re going to coming to come to Georgia from Germany and lots of other places,” he said as the audience chanted, “USA! USA! USA!”
As RSBN previously reported, Trump’s words on manufacturing came one day after he saidMonday that he will block Chinese nationals from buying American farmland if he wins the presidential election in November.
Trump shared the remarks during a visit to western Pennsylvania to share remarks during an event by the Protecting America Initiative.
“We’re going to protect it by saying you can’t do it,” Trump told attendees at the event. “It’s very easy to do, it’s a very easy thing to do. But it’s causing a lot of disruption and that’s what they want to do.”
