President Donald Trump has once again been vindicated by a jaw-dropping federal filing from Special Counsel John Durham, who has been investigating allegations of Russian “collusion” in the 2016 presidential election.
According to the filing, Durham submitted clarifying information to the court regarding the investigation and additionally revealed that Hillary Clinton’s 2016 presidential campaign did indeed spy on Trump, according to a report from the New York Post.
Additionally, Durham asserts in the filing that Michael Sussmann, a Clinton campaign lawyer, made an “alleged false statement,” to federal investigators. Further, Newsmax reported on Saturday that the Clinton campaign paid a technology company to allegedly infiltrate the servers at Trump Tower, and after the 2016 election, the White House.
These allegations are impactful, because if the Durham report is true, then President Trump was right for the last several years as he has repeatedly reminded Americans that Clinton and her cohorts spied on his campaign.
The allegations of the court filing also bring to light a very serious potential crime: spying on a sitting President of the United States.
In early February, preceding this new bombshell filing, Special Counsel Durham alleged that the Department of Justice’s (DOJ) Office of the Inspector General had not informed him that Michael Sussmann met with Inspector General Michael Horowitz in 2017, according to the New York Post.
The new motion also states that technology executives were allegedly tapped at an American university to analyze and mine internet data to construe a “narrative” that would tie Trump to Russia, Newsmax reported.
President Trump himself responded to this bombshell report through his Save America PAC, calling it an “insult to our nation.” He also said, “What Hillary Clinton and the Radical Left Democrats did with respect to spying on a President of the United States, even while in office, is a far bigger crime than Watergate.”
If Durham’s long-awaited filing is proven to be true, then Trump has been right the whole time despite attempts from the media to discredit his claims. The scandal would be much bigger than Watergate. “THEY SPIED ON THE PRESIDENT OF THE UNITED STATES,” Trump stated on Sunday, reminding Americans that he has been decrying this conspiracy long before there was an investigation to prove it.
