President Trump weighed in on the recent bombshell allegations surrounding Fulton County District Attorney Fani Willis, which paint a murky picture of her ethics and behavior, if true.
According to a story broken by The Atlantic Journal-Constitution, D.A. Willis, who is the lead prosecutor in the case against President Trump involving the Fulton County election-related charges, reportedly “hired an alleged romantic partner to prosecute Donald Trump and financially benefited from their relationship.”
The outlet reported that the romantic partner in question was allegedly a private attorney named Nathan Wade.
On Truth Social, President Trump reacted to the news, writing, “Has everybody seen the revelation, just announced in the Great State of Georgia, that the Fulton County D.A., Fani Willis, who Criminally Indicted your Favorite President, ME(!), & many other Innocent People/Patriots, HIRED & EXORBITANTLY PAID a ‘Romantic Partner’ to Prosecute the 45th President of the United States of America, & then ‘financially benefitted from their relationship.’”
Fulton County, Georgia, is where President Donald Trump was infamously processed last year, resulting in a mugshot that has become a focal point of his campaign and a symbol of his legal persecution among his supporters.
The AJC reported that Wade allegedly utilized money from Fulton County to take “lavish vacations” with D.A. Willis. The outlet further noted that this information was revealed in a court motion, which alleged serious implications if proven accurate.
Trump summarized, “So, she would give the Lawyer Lover large sums of money, they would take romantic trips together, and he would pay the bills. He got divorced the day he signed the Contract.”
He continued, “This ‘Special Prosecutor’ was given the assignment to ‘Get’ Donald J. Trump, in collusion and coordination with Crooked Joe Biden’s Department of Injustice [DOJ] and the FBI, working closely with the GBI [Georgia Bureau of Investigation], and probably another ‘Get Trump’ Prosecutor, Deranged Jack Smith, and Biden’s Friend, Prosecutor Lisa Monaco of the DOJ…..”
Indeed, the situation surrounding Willis’s and Wade’s alleged relationship and potential financial benefits looks bad for Fulton County since Wade was a special prosecutor in the case against Trump.
