The Trump campaign is revving its engines for an election season packed with MAGA rallies as the 45th president seeks to crush his competition in the GOP primary and secure a landslide victory in November.

On Saturday, President Trump will energize supporters at a “Get Out the Vote Rally” in Waterford Township, Michigan. He is expected to give remarks at the Elite Jet Center at Contact on Feb. 17, 2024, at 7:00 p.m. ET. Doors to the event open at 4:00 p.m. ET.

This event will be Trump’s first visit to the Oakland County township since he last rallied there in 2020. The rally comes about two weeks before Michigan’s GOP primary on Feb. 27.

Trump is currently blowing Nikki Haley out of the water in Republican primary polling in the Great Lakes State. The latest Morning Consult polls show President Trump with 79 percent support, giving him a massive 60-point lead over Haley.

Many leading Republicans in the state of Michigan are pledging their support to Trump as well. According to the Trump campaign, over 50 Michigan state legislators have officially endorsed him as of Wednesday.

In a strong show of support for the America First movement last July, all six Republicans from Michigan serving in the U.S. House of Representatives endorsed Trump for a second term, The Detroit News reported. This includes Reps. Tim Walberg, Bill Huizenga, John Moolenaar, Jack Bergman, Lisa McClain, and John James.

The Trump campaign named these six Republicans his 2024 Presidential Leadership Team to help him win reelection.

While endorsements continue to flow in for Trump, he plans to court Michigan voters himself with his Detroit-area rally just a few days after the South Carolina primary.
