President Donald Trump won yet another Republican presidential primary, securing the Michigan vote on Tuesday night.
According to the New York Post, he sealed this landslide victory earning 68.1 percent of the vote which marks this as the fifth state that he has dominated, winning with a double-digit lead.
The New York Post also reported that rival candidate Nikki Haley received just 26.7 percent of the vote but refuses to drop out.
President Trump addressed voters through a Michigan GOP watch party phone call stating, “I just want to thank everybody, you’ve been so incredible. The numbers are far greater than we even anticipated,” per the New York Post.
“We win Michigan; we win the whole thing,” he added.
Michigan was trending on X on Wednesday morning with 324,000 posts discussing the election.
New York Republican gubernatorial candidate and former House Representative Lee Zeldin posted, “President Trump has received more votes in Michigan tonight than all Democrat primary votes COMBINED. It’s possible that the ENTIRE blue wall gets painted red this November.”
Arizona Senate candidate Kari Lake wrote, “Michigan is #MAGA Country! Seven consecutive wins for President Trump. We will never get tired of winning!”
Former Republican primary candidate, who is now backing President Trump, Vivek Ramaswamy, stated, “Another one in the bag. The energy on the ground in Michigan was palpable, crucial for the general.”
Rep. Ronny Jackson, R-Texas, said, “Another MASSIVE win! Congratulations President Trump on tonight’s victory in Michigan. Another step closer to MAKING AMERICA GREAT AGAIN. (P.S. Nikki, it’s time to DROP OUT!)”
Jason Miller, President Trump’s senior advisor, wrote, “Joe Biden’s in real trouble in Michigan,” alongside a graphic from CNN reporting that over 101,000 Democrats, representing 13 percent, voted “uncommitted” in the primary.
