Media personality Tucker Carlson announced Monday that he has created his own streaming platform called the Tucker Carlson Network.
Carlson posted a video on X explaining why, captioning the post, “Here’s what we’ve been up to,” alluding to what he has been doing since leaving Fox News.
After leaving Fox News, Carlson launched a show on X in April, making it available to anyone without the need for a subscription. It is also worth noting that Carlson posted an interview with President Donald Trump around the time of the first GOP primary debate.
On Monday, Carlson appeared on the Megyn Kelly Show, hosted by former Fox News host turned independent commentator Megyn Kelly, to announce the birth of his streaming service.
In his announcement, Carlson stated one reason for starting the Tucker Carlson Network is because “I want to wake up and say to myself, ‘you can say whatever you want.’”
Tucker Carlson Network will offer some free content that will appear on the website and will be ad-supported. The network will also offer some interviews and monologues that are exclusive to subscribers who can view the content without ads.
For $9 a month, or $72 a year, the Tucker Carlson Network will provide the subscriber with “exclusive interviews and investigations, trusted news commentaries, and a direct line to Tucker and his team,” according to its website.
It is also worth noting the website also has a section titled “the most powerful interviews in the world,” which offers links to Carlson interviewing President Donald Trump, Dana White, and Javier Milei. Carlson has also said he will continue to post his free content to X in addition to the Tucker Carlson Network website.
