The event follows a busy week of events for Gabbard, a former Democratic congresswoman from Hawaii and Army veteran. On Monday, she formally endorsed Trump as president.

“This administration has us facing multiple wars on multiple fronts in regions around the world, and closer to the brink of nuclear war than we ever have been before,” Gabbard said. “This is one of the main reasons why I am committed to doing all that I can to send President Trump back to the White House, where he can once again serve us as our commander-in-chief.”

On Tuesday, Gabbard was named to Trump’s transition team as an honorary co-chair. She joined former Independent presidential candidate Robert F. Kennedy Jr. who revealed that he was asked to join as a Trump transition team member on Monday.

“As President Trump’s broad coalition of supporters and endorsers expands across partisan lines, we are proud that Robert F. Kennedy Jr. and Tulsi Gabbard have been added to the Trump/Vance Transition team,” Trump campaign senior advisor Brian Hughes said in a statement to Fox News Digital.

“We look forward to having their powerful voices on the team as we work to restore America’s greatness,” Hughes added.

Gabbard also recently made headlines for helping Trump with debate preparations ahead of his Sept. 10 debate with Vice President Kamala Harris.

“He knows the issues. He is very honed in on her [Kamala Harris’] record in reminding voters… ‘what have you done for the last three and a half years?’ You can paint this rosy picture about what you’re going to do, but we’re paying attention to what you’ve already done and how her policies have destroyed our economy, made us less safe, both here at home and abroad,” she told “FOX & Friends” co-host Brian Kilmeade last week.
