Multiple U.S. Border Patrol agents have stated that they will leave the agency if Vice President Kamala Harris wins the presidential election in November.

An exclusive report from The New York Post cited several agents anonymously revealing plans to abandon their role under a potential Harris administration.

“I’m not doing this s–t again … four years of hell,” one agent told the Post.

“Lots of guys who can retire will go. If Trump wins, they’ll stay,” another agent reported told the outlet.

The loss of more border agents would further add to the concern of over 4,000 federal agents who have left the Border Patrol since President Joe Biden took office in 2020.

Twice as many agents have retired early compared with the years under both President Donald Trump and former President Barack Obama, according to the Washington Examiner.

The Border Patrol includes approximately 19,000 agents.

During Trump’s rally in Prescott Valley, Arizona, on Sunday, he proposed hiring 10,000 more Border Patrol agents and giving a $10,000 retention and signing bonus.

The U.S. Border Patrol Union officially endorsed Trump on Sunday during the Arizona event. Trump said he was “honored” to receive the support of the nation’s official border union.

“It’s a great honor,” Trump said. “They said it was unanimous. Thousands of people.”

Paul Perez, the president of the National Border Patrol Council, also shared his strong support for Trump during the rally.

“If we allow border czar Harris to win this election, every city, every community in this great country is going to go to hell,” Perez said. “The untold millions of people unvetted, who she has allowed into this country that are committing murders, rapes, robberies, burglaries and every other crime will continue to put our country in peril.

“Only one man can fix that. That is Donald J. Trump,” he continued. “He has always stood with the men and women who protect this border, who put their lives on the line for the country.” The Border Patrol Union represents over 16,000 people
