The House Committee on Oversight and Accountability along with the House Committee on the Judiciary are on the hunt for transcribed interviews from the DOJ, the IRS, and the U.S. Secret Service related to the ongoing investigation into Hunter Biden, a press release from the committees has confirmed.

The House Committee on Ways and Means is additionally seeking these interviews, led by Chairman and Rep. Jason Smith, R-Mo.

Reps. James Comer, R-Ky., and Jim Jordan, R-Ohio, are leading the charge on this demand as well in their positions as the chairmen for the House Oversight Committee and the House Judiciary Committee, respectively.

In a joint statement, the three chairmen addressed their request:

“The federal government is supposed to work for the American people, but whistleblower evidence shows that several federal employees were working overtime to cover up for the Bidens. We need to hear from these federal employees and other witnesses about this weaponization of federal law enforcement power. Americans are counting on us to ensure actors are held accountable and restore the equal enforcement of the law.”

According to the committees, they are seeking the testimony of seven DOJ employees, two FBI employees, and two IRS employees.

They are also after the testimony of “Secret Service employees who received the December 7, 2020, tip-off from FBI and all Secret Service employees who may have passed this information along to the Biden family or presidential transition team.”

Comer, Jordan, and Smith are calling on the senior department heads of the DOJ, the IRS, and the U.S. Secret Service to provide these interviews.

In a letter to U.S. Attorney General Merrick Garland, they wrote, “Please be aware that the Committees will resort to compulsory process to obtain the required testimony. Thank you for your prompt attention to this matter.”
