Vaccine mandates around the world collapse after U.S. Supreme Court decision

After the U.S. Supreme Court’s 6-3 decision to block the Biden administration’s employer-based vaccine mandates, other countries have begun to follow suit by eliminating Covid-19 vaccine mandates and easing Covid-related restrictions.

British Prime Minister Boris Johnson announced Wednesday that Plan B measures to combat Covid-19 would be lifted, bringing mask mandates and vaccine passports to an end.

Johnson vowed the government will no longer criminalize individuals who refuse to wear masks in indoor settings, including classrooms, and will now allow businesses to operate from offices instead of remotely.

Likewise, vaccination certification or vaccine passports will officially end, blocking government-forced vaccine mandates.

Similarly, the Czech Republic put a sudden end to vaccine mandates, allowing citizens the right to choose the best medical decisions for themselves.

In a tweet translated into English, Prime Minister Petr Fiala announced that “Covid vaccination will not be mandatory. The government’s attitude to vaccination does not change: it is the best way to fight covid. Vaccination is the surest way to avoid the severe course of the disease; the numbers speak for themselves.”

Denmark is also set to halt all remaining restrictions, allowing visitors entry to restaurants, bars, cinemas, and other indoor facilities without showing proof of vaccine or lack of infection.

Thailand, France, and Northern Ireland plan to lift numerous Covid-19 restrictions after nearly two years of lockdowns and extreme measures were implemented in an attempt to slow the spread of the virus.

Furthermore, the World Health Organization Thursday recommended all nations lift or ease Covid-19 related travel restrictions “as they do not provide added value and continue to contribute to the economic and social stress experienced by States Parties.”

In the United States, multiple companies ditched the mandates after the Biden administration’s vaccine mandate for large employers was struck down by the Supreme Court.

“We respect the court’s ruling and will comply,” Starbucks Chief Operating Officer John Culver said, announcing employees are no longer required to be vaccinated.

General Electric, which employs over 100,000 people, also pledged to suspend Biden’s unconstitutional vaccine requirement.
