As President Trump celebrates his Super Tuesday wins, another victory has come his way in the form of an endorsement from Virginia Governor Glenn Youngkin.

Youngkin took to X to publicly endorse President Trump.

He wrote, “Voters in the Commonwealth and across the country have spoken loudly for President Donald J. Trump, and I endorse him for President of the United States.”

Youngkin praised President Trump’s role in boosting the economy during his time in the White House but waited until now to officially endorse the 45th president’s reelection campaign.

In addition, Youngkin wrote, “His record on border security, restoring American leadership across the world, reducing taxes and lowering the cost of living for all Americans stands in stark contrast to the open borders, failed leadership on the global stage, rampant inflation and higher costs of today.”

Youngkin refers to the country’s current border crisis, which has reached historic levels under Biden’s administration. RSBN reported on the border crisis and the latest victory that the federal appeals court now lets Texas law enforcement officers arrest and jail illegal immigrants crossing the border.

President Trump responded to the glowing endorsement and wrote on Truth Social, “Thank you to Governor Glenn Youngkin. I look forward to working with this fantastic Governor to WIN THE GREAT STATE OF VIRGINIA ON NOVEMBER 5th. MAKE AMERICA GREAT AGAIN!”

However, not everyone was pleased with the endorsement.

Axios reported that some Democrats have slammed Youngkin’s move. Mayor Levar Stoney vowed, “In 2025, we are going to replace Glenn Youngkin and take our Commonwealth back.” This threat is unlikely to come true, considering how much support President Trump has gotten since Tuesday and in various polls.

President Trump thanked Youngkin and now turns his attention to Biden’s State of the Union Address. On Thursday evening, he plans to give a rapid response rebuttal to Biden’s speech.
