House Speaker Mike Johnson, R-La., will invite Chloe Cole to the State of the Union as a special guest.

Johnson will host Cole as a guest speaker at Joe Biden’s State of the Union address on Thursday evening, highlighting the problem with Biden’s push for gender-affirming care.

The Post Millenial reported what Johnson said about inviting Cole: “Chloe’s story is a heartbreaking reminder of the damage being done to America’s youth in the name of radical gender ideology. She knows first-hand the tragic effects a young child experiences after being coerced into transitioning.”

Johnson added, “Chloe has become an incredible advocate for parents and families, and I am honored to have her join me as a guest at the State of the Union.”

The Hill reported in June 2023 that Biden made a promise to safeguard gender-affirming healthcare for transgender Americans amidst laws that restrict or ban gender-affirming care. Cole has been a vocal advocate against child sex change surgeries after undergoing a double mastectomy. By age 16, she realized she did not want to become a male and has since detransitioned.

Cole told The Post Millenial, “I am honored to have been invited by Speaker Johnson to attend The State of The Union Address,” She added, “It is crucial that we persist in our efforts to ensure the safety of children. I extend my deepest gratitude to Speaker Johnson for highlighting the experiences of detransitioners and the harms of gender ideology.”

According to The Post Millenial, Biden told parents on Transgender Day of Remembrance in 2022 to “affirm your kids.”

Cole hopes to stop this destructive way of thinking. She said, “We need to stop telling 12-year-olds that they’re born wrong, that they are right to reject their own bodies and feel uncomfortable with their own skin.”

Cole has been censored on Instagram, so her speech at the address gives her the opportunity to spread awareness of a problem both she and Johnson hope to shed more light on.
