The White House released the results of President Donald Trump’s May physical exam on Saturday, sharing a report from his physician recommending that the president lose weight and exercise more, though is otherwise in good health.

“President Trump remains in excellent health, demonstrating strong cardiac, pulmonary, neurological, and overall physical function. His demanding daily schedule, including multiple high-level meetings, public engagements, and regular physical activity, continues to support his overall well-being,” White House Physician Dr. Sean Barbabella wrote.

He continued, “Cognitive and physical performance are excellent. He is fully fit to carry out all duties of the Commander-in-Chief and Head of State.”

Barbabella also claimed that “Preventive counseling was provided,” during the president’s exam, “including guidance on diet, recommendation to take a low-dose aspirin, increased physical activity, and continued weight loss.”

President Trump previously visited the Walter Reed National Military Medical Center on Thursday for his exam, writing in a post to Truth Social afterwards that “everything checked out perfectly.”

President Trump, who will turn 80 on June 14, was also “within normal limits” with the Montreal Cognitive Assessment, a cognitive health test, scoring 30 out of 30.

He weighs 238lbs, and has a resting heart rate of 73 beats per minute, according to the physical report, with his cardiac age estimated at 14 years younger than his actual age.

Barbabella added that the president was given further guidance on diet, physical activity, and weight loss, while being on medication to control his cholesterol.
