The results of President Donald Trump’s physical exam were released by the White House physician on Sunday, revealing that the president is in “excellent health.”
“President Trump remains in excellent health, exhibiting robust cardiac, pulmonary, neurological, and general physical function,” said White House Physician Sean Barbabella, who performed the president’s exam on Friday at Walter Reed Memorial Hospital.
He continued, “His active lifestyle continues to contribute significantly to his well-being. President Trump’s days include participation in multiple meetings, public appearances, press availability, and frequent victories in golf events. President Trump exhibits excellent cognitive and physical health and is fully fit to execute the duties of the Commander-in-Chief and Head of State.”
According to the release, the president is 75 inches tall, weighs 224 pounds, and has a resting heart rate of 62 beats per minute. His blood pressure was also 128/74 mmHg, and his pulse oximetry was 99 percent on room air with a temperature of 98.6 degrees Fahrenheit.
President Trump’s health was seemingly perfect, having no abnormalities besides some “scarring on the right ear from a gunshot wound.”
The president is currently on four medications, including Rosuvastatin and Ezetimibe for cholesterol control, aspirin for cardiac prevention, and Mometasone cream for a skin condition.
He also told reporters after his physical on Friday about a cognitive test he had taken, in which Barbabella supposedly claimed that the president received a perfect 30 out of 30 score, the New York Post reported.
After getting his physical last Friday, Trump bragged to reporters about acing a cognitive test he was given while throwing shade at former President Joe Biden. Barbabella claimed Trump scored a “normal” 30 out of 30.
“I felt I was in very good shape. Good heart,” President Trump said Friday after the exam. “I took a cognitive test. I don’t know what to tell you other than I got every answer right.”
